As you may or may not be aware, davroe is a strong supporter of the Little Heroes foundation (LHF).
This event, like all their events, is aimed at raising much needed funds to help children and their families suffering from Cancer and other serious illness.
On Friday the 6th May 2016 the Little Heroes Foundation held its annual Mother’s Day Lunch at our beautiful Wine Centre (another supporter of the foundation) which raised over $30,000.
LHF, pride themselves on delivering new innovative machinery for our Children’s Hospital to help with rehabilitation. Much needed help to parents and families of sick children is also a part of what they do.
Currently the foundation is raising funds for a state of the art robotics unit for the Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
There is nothing like this in Australia, the benefits of such a unit are immense in helping children “learn” how to move and walk again.
Back to the day itself, it consisted of a fashion parade by South Australian designers, Simmone Standing the Label, SIG The label, Couture Love Madness and Jaimie Sortino.
Our davroe creative team styled the hair for the parade, makeup on the day was by Media Makeup and the parade was styled by Markus Hamence and Shaun Ferguson.
We’ve included some photos from the day. If you can help the very wonderful Little Heroes Foundation please do.
We have taken the liberty of adding a link to this page, we hope you don’t mind.
Thank you for your ongoing support of our davroe brand, we look forward to bringing you new products and keeping you informed of where we are heading and how our exporting is going.
Exciting times ahead.
