We couldn’t agree more with this statement from the Little Heroes Foundation, so last Friday, off we went to the annual Mother’s Day Luncheon, held at the National Wine Centre.
The day, hosted by Today Tonight’s Rosanna Mangiarelli, was kicked off with a gorgeous fashion parade directed by the talented Markus Hamence, with hair styling supplied by our Davroe Team.
The parade featured designs by Showies Boutique and Peter Shearer Menswear, modeled by everyone’s favourite Firemen!
Throughout the day, guests heard from Little Heroes’ new Brand Ambassador, Claire Lindop, our very own Mary Centofanti, and one of the Little Heroes mothers Beth Thomas, who with her speech reaffirmed to everyone in the room the reason they were all there, to support this magnificent charity that in turns supports these wonderful families.
After weeks of fundraising, our very own National Sales Manager Andrew had his head and beard shaved on stage by Anthony from Botanic Hair. We have left this donation page up for a little bit longer in the hope that a few more of our wonderful supporters out there might jump on and make a donation. The Little Heroes Foundation raises funds towards essential equipment and services for seriously ill children and their families.
They have raised more than $13 million dollars for lifesaving facilities at Adelaide’s Women’s and Children’s Hospital, and to provide daily support to families through our Little Heroes Care program.
