This week Davroe, as the Official Hair Sponsor, had the privilege of working alongside Aqua Blu designer, Kirsitan Chase, to showcase his latest collection – Eden Collection, during his first solo show at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in Sydney.
Chase has had an extensive career in the fashion industry, beginning his first job with the stunning Christian Dior. Over the years he has risen in the ranks working for world renowned brands such as Hermes, Louis Vuitton an Möet Hennessy.
Since he began at Aqua Blu as creative director the brand has seen continuous growth and are now retailing at a worldwide level. His style is shining through and over the last few seasons we have seen it synchronise with the patterns and cuts that Aqua Blu is known for.
On the runway we saw this year’s resort 2020 collection, Eden, full of bold prints, bright colours and statement pieces. True to the brand’s usual pieces we saw a fun, flirty and romantic take on swimwear with an emphasis on the one piece.
Chase focused on pushing the boundaries of swimwear, with an incredibly inclusive collection that is made for everyone. This was showcased with a variety of models ranging in age, gender and size.
This year sees Aqua Blu reaching 19 years on the market, in celebration of this they are heading on somewhat of a world tour, with Miami Swim Week, London Fashion Week, Paris Resort Week planned and more still to come.
